PRIDE Month 2022

Early Childhood Educators have a special role in supporting healthy gender identity & expression for children and families.

This month we celebrate the wonderfully authentic selves of our early learning leaders and the community members for which they provide thoughtful & inclusive education and care.

“Open Closet is a social support group for LGBT2Q+ (lesbian, gay, bi, trans, 2-spirit, queer) youth between 14 and 18 years of age.”

“It is the mission of Camp Wendake to provide a safe, welcoming residential camping experience for persons living with HIV and those who support them. We strive to honour diversity in age, gender, race, sexual orientation, ability, health status, culture, spirituality and economic state.”

“OK2BME is a set of supportive services for 2SLGBTQIA+ identified children, teens, adults and their families in Waterloo Region.”

“Trans Lifeline is a grassroots hotline and microgrants 501(c)(3) non-profit organization offering direct emotional and financial support to trans people in crisis – for the trans community, by the trans community.”
