In December 2025, the Ontario Ministry of Education released an update to the Ontario Kindergarten Curriculum, set to be implemented in the 2026-2027 academic year. The Ministry has developed a number of resources to support and inform educators and parents through these changes:

- Kindergarten Webinars - In February and March, the Ministry offered webinars with a comprehensive overview of the 2026 curriculum update. Webinars on specific topics are scheduled for April, May, and June. The full webinar schedule is available here.
The AECEO wants to hear directly from RECEs working and supplying in the FDK program about their thoughts on the updated curriculum and how these changes will impact their work. As your professional association, our work is to represent you at the policy table and make sure you have what you need to do the work that you love. When you share your perspective, you help inform our policy recommendations and the direction of our advocacy work.
