June is Indigenous History Month
Since June 2009, the month has been used nationally to honour the history, heritage, culture, and accomplishments of Indigenous people.
The AECEO is committed to highlighting Indigenous Early Learning & Care leaders and practitioners, but we acknowledge that our efforts must go beyond promotion and collective learning.
Allocating our resources and leveraging our positioning power in the Ontario ELCC sector to bring about transformative change that is inclusive and accessible to the Indigenous community must always be prioritized.

Assembly of Seven Generations (A7G) is an Indigenous owned and youth-led, non-profit organization focused on cultural support and empowerment programs/policies for Indigenous youth while being led by traditional knowledge and Elder guidance.
