How hot is too hot? Summers in Ontario are getting hotter and lasting longer, from record-breaking temperatures to unprecedented wildfires, the climate crisis is no longer a tomorrow reality, it's a today reality.

In this "new normal", ECEs  - and everyone who works in the sector - continue to do some of the most important work in the world. As temperatures creep upwards, we stay commited to creating safety and comfort for children, and building communities for families and each other.  

This interactive online event will give you an opportunity to talk about what decent work looks like in these conditions, knowing that educator's working conditions are children's learning conditions. 
We will:

• Talk about our rights to work in safety - and how those rights can protect children
• Hear your experiences
• Share resources (including prizes to help beat the heat!) 
• See how activists and advocates are pushing for change to keep everyone safe in the heat.
