Join AECEO Community Organizer Erin Filby at the Leading Change Network's 2024 Annual Community Meet

The AECEO is excited to share that our very own Community Organizer Erin Filby will be one of the featured speakers at this year's Leading Change Network Annual Community Meet on May 18th!

The Leading Change Network (LCN) is a global community of organizers, educators, researchers, and organizations committed to freedom and justice. The Annual Community Meet brings together people and organizations in fields related to social change and public policy who are interested in leading for change. LCN founder Marshall Ganz, Senior Lecturer at the Harvard Kennedy School, will also be speaking at the event.

As Community Organizer at the AECEO, Erin works closely with the early learning and child care community, creating safe and supportive spaces for people to come together and organize to make change happen. In addition to her work at the AECEO, Erin facilitates sessions with Institute for Change Leaders where she uses her ECE knowledge and care-centred pedagogy to teach public narrative story-telling, community organizing, and leadership skills based on the Ganz framework. Erin cares out loud about the world and is an expert at getting people to come along and care loudly with her.

We are so excited for Erin to have this opportunity to share the amazing work she does with the global community of organizers! Our team is super proud of her and we hope you'll join us in supporting Erin at this virtual event.
