
The AECEO is currently searching for contributions to General Articles and the ECE Voices sections of our publication, eceLINK. ECEs, child care workers, early childhood students, faculty & researchers, you're invited to share your insights, experiences, expertise & connect with the ECE community!

We are currently welcoming submissions for the following non-peer reviewed sections. For information about submitting to the peer reviewed collection, visit the peer-reviewed call for articles. Submissions for the General Articles and ECE Voices sections for the Summer 2026 issue are due May 30th, 2026. General Section
This section is dedicated to current issues in the ECE sector, including social justice initiatives, sharing of pedagogical projects or any other community updates.
We invite contributors, activists, educators and others from the field to submit written pieces related to:
- Strengthening the ECE network in Ontario
- News and updates from the sector
- Sharing resources or ideas related to professional practice and learning.
Submissions should be between 1500-3000 words and may include images. These submissions typically have academic references. Articles that are accepted are not peer reviewed but will be copy edited by the editorial team.
To have your work featured in the General Articles section of eceLINK, fill out the eceLINK submission form and email it to [email protected] with the subject line “eceLINK Submission”.
ECE Voices
This open-ended section of eceLINK prioritizes the voices & lived experiences ECEs & child care workers. This is an intentional space for you to express yourselves and be actively involved in pushing new/alternative thinking and possibilities in our field.
We welcome creative pieces of varying lengths. Submissions can take the form of a short article, a poem, an image + reflection, creative writing pieces, documentation of the amazing work you are doing/seeing in the field, etc. These submissions typically do not have academic references, but can if needed. ECE Voices pieces that are accepted are not peer reviewed but will be copy edited by the editorial team.
We invite you to use the reflection prompt as a springboard for your submission. Feel free to think outside the box!
Reflection Prompt for Summer 2026 issue
As an early childhood educator or student of early childhood education, looking at the things that you created in practice or in school over the last year or reflecting on what you have done or written, please consider creating a submission of something that you would like to share with the community.
