Registration Fee
Registration fee includes accommodations, all meals, parking/transportation from Toronto, and participation and materials for the Advocacy Summit sessions. Registration cost depends on the type of room you book (more info below). The Retreat is a professional learning and networking event. Check with your employer (or union rep) if financial support support is available through Professional Development (PD) funding.
Booking Your Room
We encourage participants to book a suite style room, as there are more of those available and they are more affordable. All rooms have a view of the lake and everyone gets their own private sleeping space. You will select the room style at the time of registration. Two options are available:
-
Option 1 - Single Room - $690 + tax (limited availability)
Private bedroom, private bathroom, no living room/kitchenette. -
Option 2 - Suite Style Room - $530 + tax (per person)
Private bedroom, shared bathroom and kitchenette/living room.
The AECEO team will assist participants with finding a suitemate after registration closes.
Registration also includes a welcome gift bundle, with exclusive items made especially for Retreat participants with the support and sponsorship from our partners at belairdirect.
Getting to the Retreat
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors at the Community Services Benefits Trust, we will be able to offer transportation to and from the Retreat at no additional cost to participants! Our team has secured a bus to bring retreat participants from Union Station in Toronto to the Bayview Wildwood Resort in Severn Bridge and back. Sign up for a spot on the bus when you register. More details, such as specific meeting location and time will be shared with registrants at a later date. For those driving, parking will be available at the resort (included with registration).
More information
The AECEO team will lead the workshops happening on Saturday and Sunday morning. Other activities will include a bonfire, nature walks, and more opportunities to connect and recharge! Once registration closes, the AECEO team will host a pre-Retreat (virtual) session to share more details about programming and offer participants an opportunity to meet one another before we go on our adventure.
