International Women’s Day Toronto 2026

You’re invited to join the Child Care Brigade at International Women’s Day (IWD) Toronto! Join the AECEO, the OCBCC, CUPE 2484, families, educators and ECE advocates on Saturday, March 7th, for the launch of our new campaign (which you got a sneak preview of during the training)!

Thanks to our union local CUPE 2484 for securing the space for our gathering. While the rally is taking place in the auditorium, we will be across the hall in the preschool room for pre-march networking, snacks, sign making and chant practicing. We’ll prepare to join the march together at 1PM.  Please note: child care is not provided, caregivers must stay with their children. Light snacks will be provided.

No registration required. Feel free to join us just for the pre-march gathering or just for the march itself, the most important thing is for you to show up however you are able to. Share this invite with your ECE pals! We hope to see you all there!
