Our province-wide day of action is being held on May 31st. The plan is to “Chalk it up for Child Care” in as many neighborhoods and communities as possible. We hope that you’ll participate by chalking up your side walks with messages and hashtags that represent the benefits of universal child care. Don’t forget to take a picture and post! Join the Halton Advocates on June 3rd for a picnic in the park, local candidates have been invited to come and discuss what child care means to your family in the provincial election.
On June 2nd join the Ottawa ECE Power Team for a BBQ from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Candidates have been invited to attend. Come and have some family fun in support of quality and affordable early childhood education for all.
The Thunder Bay team has made "Vote Child Care Frames" (as pictured) to engage with parents and voters at EarlyON Centres and child care centres throughout the community. Look for a frame take a picture and post it to social media join them in the child care conversation you can also see them at the One stop and shop event on May 26th.
The Early Years Professionals Rise Up T.O. will be chalking it up for child care on Thursday, May 31st, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Nathan Phillip Square. ECEs will be engaging voters about how Universal Child Care IS Possible.

The Early Years Coalition Waterloo Region is asking all supporters to Call-out for Child Care on Fridays you can call or email your local election candidates to inquire about their child care campaign, they have a different questions you can discuss with candidates.
On June 4th they want to show the community that child care matters - Chalk the Walk by finding some chalk, go to a walkway in your community, write a message, take a picture and share it to social media!
On May 27th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. join the Waterloo Region Team at the Child Care Rally for children, families and educators at The Boardwalk at Ira Needles Blvd. by Central Village near the Splash Circle. Come and enjoy community fun this weekend!
