Common Table (CTCDCO)

The Common Table for Child Development and Care Ontario

In 2005, the AECEO, as one of six founding organizations, formed The Common Table for Childhood Development and Care. The group came together in an effort to promote collaboration in advocacy and delivery of services to children and families in Ontario. The six founding partners of this Provincial group included the AECEO, Ontario Coalition for Better Child Care (OCBCC), Ontario Association of Family Resource Programs (OAFRP), Home Child Care Association of Ontario (HCCAO), Ontario Early Years Centre Network (OEYCN) and Middle Years Matter Coalition (MYMC). The Common Table has since grown to include 22 provincial members.

The AECEO encourages forum participants, as well as those who were unable to attend, to write to Charles Pascal, Special Advisor to the Premier on Full Day Early Learning, with feedback and suggestions. Pascal has a special website set up to receive public feedback.
