The Association of Early Childhood Educators, Ontario (AECEO) began the certification process in 1964. This process has evolved with the needs of the early learning sector for the past 47 years.
There are two intake periods within a calendar year for certification: March 1-30 and September 1-30. This is an 18-month process that includes an essay and portfolio submission.
What is AECEO Certification?
The AECEO Certification Process is an extra step in Professional Development. This process allows trained Early Childhood Educators to reflect on their career from a past, present and future element. Members walk away with an extra designation (ECE.C) and the ability to market themselves!
Do you need help determining the next step in your career? If so, this process is for you!
