The AECEO 60th Annual Conference held in Hamilton May 27-29 was a tremendous success. This year's conference entitled "Transformational Leadership: Preparing the Early Years Profession for Change" brought together over 600 professionals from both the early learning and education sectors.

An event of this size would not have been possible were it not for the volunteers who worked tirelessly to help us ensure delegates had the best experience of Hamilton. A very special thank you to our Hamilton Branch Conference Committee, headed by Debbie Szpak & Barb Vanry, for their amazing and local support.

Deemed "very timely" and "necessary" by participants, the information shared with the delegates was so well received that we have been asked to make some of the presentations from the conference available to our members. In the upcoming summer issue of the eceLINK we will be publishing articles written by some of the conference presenters. We will also be posting a video recording of the panel presentation entitled "Perspectives on Early Childhood Educators and their role in the Early Learning Program" on our website.

Annual General Meeting
