Since it is the 60th birthday for the AECE,O and we are having a big  Community Event at Fall Focus (this is a celebration that recognizes RECE’s in our Community for attending P.D. Events over the past year in support of Raising The Bar) on Wednesday October 20,2010 our local branch has decided to provide everyone who attends with a piece of cake.  We plan to have two cakes, a chocolate cake and a white cake.  One will have “AECE,O Happy 60th Birthday” and the other will have “Week of The Child”.  Our lettering and decoration on the cakes will be in blue to celebrate of course!  Last year 500+ RECE’s attended and we anticipate more will come this year!

For that night we will display our new sign for all to see as well.

The Fall Focus is supported by Region of Waterloo and the Waterloo-Wellington Branch of the AECE,O also provides monetary support, as well as many other organizations and child care centres within our Community.
